"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited.  Imagination encircles the world". - Einstein -

Who We Are

The Blackmans Bay Drama Club has been created to provide dramatic arts to children aged 4-16 years.

Our aim is to make the arts more available and accessible to all school children. We at the Blackmans Bay Drama Club believe that drama isn't just about "acting" but also provides an outlet for self-expression, it develops imaginative and artistic awareness, it increases social and cognitive skills, fluency of speech, self-respect, self-confidence, and above all... It's FUN.

Drama gives students the opportunities to learn how to co-operate with others, aids orderly thinking and the ability to oganise. The benefits do not only accrue through students participating actively in dramatic activity, they also learn through listening, planning and observing others.

The Blackmans Bay Drama Club will provide what we hope you will see as the perfect balance of education, play and stimulation. We use a carefully planned curriculum paying equal attention to ALL our student's needs. We are committed to a two-way communication proccess without parents to ensure that we have total understanding and support.

We are fortunate in our location of the Blackmans Bay Hall (on Ocean Esplanade) which is near to great coffee at Sfuso for parents and opposite the beach or playgrounds for children.
